This guide will walk you through the steps involved for creating a website on the IAAP Web Community, including cost and payment options and anything else you may need. At the end of the page, there is a form that will allow you to get your site started. Learn more.
By default, the "Edit this Page" link does not appear on any home page within the Web Community. An easy way to gain access to this page (or any page, really) is to go to any page BUT the home page, click "Edit this Page" at the top (this only appears for webmasters) and on the following page click on "Navigation." This is an easy way to get to the Navigation screen where you can access all of the site's pages and content items.
One benefit of IAAP’s Web Community is its robust document library options. IAAP members and chapters have the ability to upload a variety of different media for use by their chapter and other IAAP members. This tutorial will walk you through the process of adding a document to the Document Library. View tutorial.
The Web Community's Document Library is a great resource for finding documents related to your chapter/division or documents from IAAP headquarters, but knowing how to use it properly is important to finding what you're looking for. View tutorial.
When a new page is created in the IAAP Web Community, there are default values that determine what that page will look like in terms of layout. For example, when your chapter’s home page is initially setup, it is formatted as a double column layout. For other pages inside, the default is a single column layout. This tutorial will demonstrate how to change the layout of a page without relying on tables or other messy HTML modifications. View tutorial.
